1.What is the role of the equipment in EO?
Let’s start with the basics :
Equipment is divided into 6 pieces : weapon,boots,bracelet,armor,necklace and helmet.
Each piece has it’s own level requirment in order to be worn by the owner and it’s certain quality.
The quality is listed as :
Common item - The item is in it’s weakest form and the name is written in it’s normal mode and the font is white in color.If the item is at the acordingly level with your level ( you wear it at it’s best level you can afford ) it will add 1 potency.

Refined item - This is an improved version of the item.For example,let’s take an Plunderer.The refined version will be shown as RefinedPlunderer with increased attack than an normal one.Also,refined items add 1 more potency above common item.

Unique item - This is an improved version of the refined item.The unique item will have it’s name written as UniquePlunderer with increased attack than an refined one.Unique items add 1 more potency above refined item and 2 above common

Elite item - This is the improved version of the unique item.The elite item will have it’s name written as ElitePlunderer with increased attack than an unique one.Elite items add 1 more potency above unique item and 3 above common

Super item - This is the ultimate version of an item.The super item will have it’s name written as SuperPlunderer with increased attack than an elite one.Super items add 1 more potency above elite item and 4 above common
Super weapons will also gain the ability to glow,however the glow is just an visual effect with no special properties.Armor equipment does not glow at super

Item level
Above it was mentioned something about equipment best level adds 1 extra potency.Each item has it’s own level requirment to be worn,such as Plunderer has lvl 85.An lvl 85-89 warrior wielding an Plunderer will gain 1 pot from the equipment level.However once he hits lvl 90 and the weapon needs to be upleveled he will loose that 1 pot untill he uplevels the weapon.

So far we have the quality an level explained.The other stats are defense,magic defense ( which have no value as long as an eudemon takes all the damage for you ),dodge rate for boots and hit rate for weapons.Last but not least durability which drops as you use the item.It can be repaired and restored back to full durability for a small fee or special ingredients if you’re item’s durability has dropped to 0

2.How can I improve my equipment?
There are various ways of improving an equipment,such as quality ( refined,unique,elite,super ),or level ,or bonus ,or embeding gems into the equipment to give them special properties.All these operations can be performed at one big place that looks like an anvil with 4 NPC next to it :

Quality upgrading - Beirut
He is located at the top-left corner of the anvil and will upgrade your equipment’s quality ( e.g. refined to unique ).In order to do so you will require and red stone or an super red stone.One super red stone is the combination of 20 regular red stones.You can make one at Joans in Market next to the warehouse.The difference between regular and super red stone is that super red stone is 100% succesfull.Failing the upgrading,the equipment keeps the quality but the red stone dissapears.

Gem Socket - Charles
He is the one at the down-left corner of the anvil and will embed/combine gems.For more information check chapter 4 : Sockets & Gems

Level upgrade - Angelina
She is located at top-right corner of the anvil and will uplevel the equipment.In order to do so an violet or super-violet stone is required.In case of fail the equipment keeps it’s level but the stone dissapears.Superviolet Stone has 100% succes rate and can be obtained by combining 15 regular violet stones at Joans in market
Equipment above level 90 require only superviolet stone in order to succed

Bonus Endow - Reene
She is located at the down-right corner of the anvil and will increase the bonus of the equipment.The bonus is then written as Aditional P-atk/M-atk/HP/M-def/P-def depending on the piece of equipment.The bonus goes up to +12 by using yellow stones or super yellow stones from +0 to +9 and from +9 to +12 yellow stones.You can obtain an super yellow stone by combining 30 yellow stones at Joans in market
The potency bonus gained from equipment bonus is the same as the lowest bonus on your equipment

4.Sockets & Gems
The armors can get 1 or 2 slots where we can embed different gems with different properties.For this we need to have an socket opened.For weapons you will need 3 red stones and the gem socket Douglas NPC will open the first socket,and 10 red stones for second socket.For armor it is required moonbox for first socket and super moon box for second socket.Each socket adds 1 potency

Now we have the sockets.What shall we embed?

Refined Amethyst
You can embed it in any equipment to get +50% durability.+100% for super amethyst

Refined Amber
You can embed it in weapon,bracelet,necklace and boots to get +3 potency.+5 for super amber

Refined Beryl
You can embed it in helmet and armor to get -10% damage.-15% damage for super beryl

Refined Citrine
You can embed it in weapon,necklace and boots to get +20% damage.+25% damage for super citrine

Refined Saphire
You can embed it in weapon,bracelet and boots to get + 15% exp.+25% exp for super saphire

Gem embeding is performed at Charles NPC for a small fee of 100k gold per embeding.Gem removing will no longer gain u acces to the gem,it will be lost forever.R.I.P.

How to get an super gem ? At Charles you can combine refined gems into super gems.For an super gem is required 1 free slot in inventory and 30 refined gems.The combination is for free.yay !

Never underestimate the value of the equipment.It can save your life
